Observation 10 - Chain Rule

• They will start doing integrals (ie: Chapter 15.1) at the next lecture

They will do the chain rule for 3 variable functions now. I already have review setup for the next workshop.

They did the example as follows: $f(x,y)=\sqrt{1-x^2-y^2}$ and we have $x=r\cos (\theta )$ and $y=r\sin (\theta )$ (ie, they have a circle of lines). They computed $f_r$ and $f_{\theta }$.
